BRAMLEY HILL CENTRE NEWS
PAST
A new vehicle has joined the fleet of minibuses at Bramley Hill - longer than any of our previous vehicles
and real 'state of the art'. This minibus was funded by
The Bridge House Trust
to whom we are very grateful.
PRESENT
For the past few months, many of the centre members have been going to the Croydon Sports Arena one morning
a week to use the specialised cycling equipment. Special cycles are available to allow even the most severely
disabled to enjoy this excellent form of exercise.
Some of the cycles are propelled by hand, some take two people and there are 3 & 4 wheeled bikes. This proving
very popular with centre members and so far bad weather has not cancelled many of the sessions.
Another new vehicle has been purchased for the centre. Demand on transport is always growing.
FUTURE
We are planning to build a hydrotherapy pool at Bramley Hill if we can secure funding for this project. It will be of tremendous benefit to our members and everyone is excited about this.
